Ed has been skiing since he could walk, skiing mainly in Verbier he soon fell in love with the place and the people, and for the last three winters he has based himself in Verbier the 'freeride capital of Europe'. Living in Verbier has provided him with the opportunity to ski and train with some of the best pro's around and through this he found his passion for big mountain skiing. With advice and training from the Warren Smith Ski Academy he is looking forward to competing on the European stops of the world tour. Ed also works closely with Verbier based snowsports photographer Camilla Stoddart ( ) who's work is regulary published in international snowsport magazines. Apart from enjoying skiing big lines Ed can either be found in various states of undress during one of Verbier's notorious Apres Ski sessions or working hard on his quest to become the top Pro Evolution Soccer player in Switzerland! Also when he gets a chance he enjoys playing rugby and surfing. Ed is going to be pushing his skiing the hardest he has over the next year, working on his competition results, photographs and filming with Run Jump Fly Productions. He plans to spend the southern hemisphere winter in New Zealand and South America.
